Toronto Maple Leafs defenceman Jake Muzzin left Monday night's game during the second period after his head hit the ice following a collision with Montreal Canadiens defenceman Chris Wideman.

Muzzin was taken to a local hospital for testing and was discharged last night. He spent the night in Montreal and didn't travel with the Maple Leafs to Columbus for tonight's game.
According to Nick Kypreos, Muzzin will be out indefinitely and is expected to return back to Torotno today.
"Jake Muzzin update. Out indefinitely. He spent the night in Montreal after being released from hospital and is expected back in Toronto today," Kypreos said in tweet.
Muzzin, 33, only returned to the Maple Leafs' lineup on February 10th against Calgary after suffering a concussion in January following a hit from St. Louis Blues forward Klim Kostin.
In 41 games this season, Muzzin has twelve points (two goals, ten assists), twelve penalty minutes and is a minus-eight.
