Hockey is a passionate sport, but there is a line that can't be crossed. This is players and fans interacting in an overtly violent way.

Angry Fan Grabs Stick to Fight Player

In a Slovakian hockey game, an incident had already occured when a fan pointed a laser pointer at a goalie. This raised tensions between the players and the fans in the stands. By the middle of the third period, captain František Bakrlík took a penalty and began to beat his opponent on the ice.

Bakrlík's actions began a fight, and it extended to the fans. After Bakrlík was ejected, players on the bench began to fight the fans.

Then a particularly creative fan grabbed a stick and started swinging...

This is a wild story, and I wish I had been there so that I could have told it with justice!

Ultimately, the game was ended early, and police were called to escort out the visiting players. You'd never see this in the NHL!
