Jared McCann and Lane Lambert just got pulled into a Seattle rumor that does not match the Kraken's own public staff pages.

The post making the rounds says Seattle hired Patrik Allvin as assistant general manager and Pascal Vincent as assistant coach. Right now, that does not look confirmed.

That matters because the Kraken's official front-office page still lists Jason Botterill as general manager, with Ricky Olczyk, Ryan Jankowski, and Alexandra Mandrycky as assistant general managers. Patrik Allvin is not listed there.

The coaching side looks the same. Seattle's official coaching-staff page is live, but the public team pages I could verify do not show Pascal Vincent as an announced assistant coach.

So this is where the story stands right now: the rumor is out there, but the official Kraken pages do not back it up yet. That is a big gap.

There is a reason the Allvin part got traction, though. He was fired by Vancouver in April, and reporting after that tied him to possible landing spots, including Seattle.

That makes the idea believable on the surface. It does not make it done.

Seattle also does have a real opening on the bench. Jessica Campbell is not returning next season, which means Lane Lambert's staff still has had room for change.

" The #SeaKraken have hired Patrik Allvin as vice-president and assistant GM, reuniting with GM Jason Botterill.

They previously worked together in Pittsburgh. "

A blockbuster NHL move is suddenly creating chaos between three teams

Because Seattle is still trying to clean up a disappointing year. The Kraken finished 34-37-11 for 79 points, so every front-office or coaching tweak is going to get attention.

That is especially true with Botterill now leading hockey operations. The official Kraken front-office page shows him in charge, and that means any executive addition around him becomes a bigger story right away.

Pascal Vincent also is the kind of name that makes hockey sense in rumor season. He has been viewed around the league as a credible NHL bench option, so fans do not need much to connect him to a vacancy.

But there is still a difference between a fit and a hire. Right now, Seattle's public pages support neither move as official.

That does not mean nothing is coming. It means people got ahead of the team announcement, or the rumor is off.

For now, the safest read is simple. Seattle may still add to the front office and the bench, but the Patrik Allvin and Pascal Vincent update is not something the Kraken's own public records are confirming yet.
