The IIHF Women's World's are currently under way in Calgary, Alberta and Team USA's Hilary Knight has found herself in the history books after scoring her 44th career Women's Worlds goal on Sunday, moving into a time with all-time great Cammi Granato.

The best part about the feat? Knight wasn't even aware that she tied the record until she was being interviewed by TSN after the game against Finland. The moment of realization being caught on camera was such an amazing moment. You can see it for yourself below!

A founding member of the US Women's National Team back in 1990, Granato is renowned as a top-5 all-time women's hockey player and a truly inspirational woman who blazed a trail for everyone who came after her. Granato is the all-time leading scorer in women's international hockey history with 96 points in 54 international games. She was also the first woman to be inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame.

What a cool moment for Knight. To be cemented as one of the best to ever lace up the skates in her own right and to not even know it is so wonderfully wholesome. Congratulations to Knight on the amazing accomplishment.

Team USA is currently tied with Canada in Group A with 6 points. The Czechs also have 6 points over in Group B.
