Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl have both been held stagnant by the Florida Panthers, and are now down in a two game deficit in the Stanley Cup Finals.

With this in mind, ahead of game 3 between the Edmonton Oilers and the Florida Panthers, captain Connor McDavid has sent a clear message to his haters:

"It's another opportunity for our group to come together & dig our way outI'm excited to see what our group is made of."

Edmonton Oilers superstar Leon Draisaitl said this following the Oilers' game two loss, where he potentially put himself in the mix for a suspension due to his actions on Florida Panthers captain Aleksander Barkov. He accepts that he must play significantly better to give the Edmonton Oilers a fighting chance in this series:

«We can certainly be better. It starts with me. I certainly have a lot more to give. Not my best tonight.»

We will see which team between the Edmonton Oilers and Florida Panthers comes out victorious in these Stanley Cup Finals. If the Florida Panthers win game three, they are historically all but guaranteed a ring. For the Oilers, the stakes are higher than ever.
