Former Edmonton Oilers head coach Jay Woodcroft seems to have officially hit rock bottom after being fired by the team and has now started selling a health elixir.

The Edmonton Oilers had one of the worst starts to the season, starting in the bottom few spots in the league. Desperate for a change, the team made the tough call to fire their head coach Jay Woodcroft.

"The Edmonton Oilers have fired head coach Jay Woodcroft and assistant coach Dave Manson after a disappointing start to a season that had Stanley Cup aspirations."

Their leadership's choice, however, seems to have been the right one. Now, with the Oilers in the second round of the playoffs less than a year after his firing, Jay Woodcroft has reached a new low. The former coach is now shelling out a health elixir from a company called Sense Naturals.

"Hi, I'm Jay Woodcroft. I wanted to take a moment today to talk to you about a natural healing elixir called Balance from my friends at Sense Naturals."

According to Woodcroft, he is not the only team member from the hockey industry. This former coach has ties to this company through the Oilers' former director of high performance Simon Bennet.

"Sense Naturals is co-founded by someone I've worked with in the past. Someone who has worked in the hockey industry and has tackled the fitness industry by the name of Simon Bennett."

After seven months away from the Oilers, joining a company in the notorious industry of health supplements has made Woodcroft the subject of ridicule and pity from fans and foes alike.

The Edmonton Oilers are going into their fifth game against the Vancouver Canucks tonight with the series tied. After such a remarkable comeback for the team after his firing and now an apparent change of industry, it may be a while before we see Jay Woodcroft back at the bench.
