Sports Anchor discussing San Jose Sharks while video crew cuts to clip of actual live sharks

Everyone loves a good blooper, but when it happens on a live broadcast, it can be pretty embarrassing, especially when it's not your mistake. Such is the case for ABC10 Sports Anchor Lina Washington.

During a live feed, where Washington was discussing the San Jose Sharks' back-to-back matchups with the Vegas Golden Knights on March 5th and 6th, during which the Sharks were hoping to snap a 7-game losing skid at home, the video crew queued up a clip of actual sharks swimming in the ocean, rather than a clip of San Jose Sharks highlights.

Credit to Washington, who held her composure during the blip and continued to do her thing like a true professional, but you have to imagine she was dying on the inside.

It's amazing to me that, in the age of the internet, this story had not surfaced sooner than it did. Thanks to Washington for her willingness to share it and spread some laughter during particularly trying times.
