While Tkachuk won the fight Scheifele won the war. The Jets are currently up by 2 with 3 minutes left and Mark Scheifele has been a huge part of that. Scheifele's fight got him a very elusive individual accomplishment.
Scheifele now has a fight, a goal, and an assist in the game. This is otherwise known as a Gordie Howe Hat Trick. This is arguably harder than a regular hat trick. This is the first time that Scheifele has done this in his career.
Both players will look to use the momentum from this game to catapult their season forward.
