Yet another huge mock trade has dropped, and this one is catching more eyes than others.
Wright Goes Back To Canada
In this newly reported trade suggestion, it is
Seattle Kraken top prospect
Shane Wright that is involved, and he would be going back to his home Canada with the
Toronto Maple Leafs. As he is finding it hard to develop into the top player he was projected to be with Seattle, a trade may be necessary for both Wright and the Kraken.
Longtime defenseman
Adam Larsson and a first round draft prick would be going to the Leafs as well. You may be thinking that this is a lot, but the return package would definitely be worth it.
Kraken Get Superstar Winger
In return, Seattle is getting their first true superstar in
William Nylander, who would add an immediate boost to their offense. With Nylander and the Leafs finding it hard to come to terms on a contract extension, trade rumors have emerged and this deal shuts them down as Nylander would find a new home and sign the huge extension of $10 million AAV that he has been requesting.
The Kraken also receive hard-nosed defenceman
T.J. Brodie in this mock deal, adding additional defense depth to their roster.
As this mock trade grows popular, it is definitely one to keep an eye on, as well as both Wright and Nylander's situations this offseason and if they find a new home for next season.
