Philadelphia Flyers head coach John Tortorella has never minced words. Torts is - and probably always will be - a straight shooter.

In usual fashion, when he has a problem with his players he seldom shies away from making it known. After Sunday's 3-1 win over Detroit, one would imagine he'd be content with his team, considering the general scarcity of those.

Alas, Torts' predictability or lack thereof deserves acknowledgement. The Flyers' bench boss called out forwards Brendan Lemieux and Tanner Laczynski for being 'out of shape.'

Always a promising sign of cohesion when the GM trades for a player and the head coach calls him fat three days later. Chuck Fletcher's acquisition of Lemieux was a questionable one regardless, even if it did land a 5th round pick.

This isn't the first time Tortorella has displayed dissatisfaction with his GM's work, and if it's the last it probably means this is his last season. He's signed beyond this season, but you never know if the Flyers look to clean house soon.
