Vin Scully home from hospital

Vin Scully is back home and resting after being hospitalized for a fall, the Los Angeles Dodgers announced on Saturday.

"My sincerest thanks to the L.A. County Firemen and women who come to the rescue and always seem to be there when we need and to the excellent administration, doctors, and nurses of Los Robles Hospital," Scully said in a tweet released by the Dodgers.

"I am so eternally grateful for their help and selfless service. I'm home and resting comfortably with my wife and we are both eagerly awaiting the Time for Dodger Baseball!"

The 92–year–old Scully, suffered a fall at his home on Tuesday. Thursday, the Dodgers notified fans of Scully's fall and said that he was resting at the hospital.

Scully was the voice of the Dodgers for 66 years, from 1950-2016.

Shortly after news released of the legendary Dodgers broadcaster's hospitalization, the current L.A. broadcasting crew, including Orel Hershiser, sent out their well wishes.
