The Minnesota Wild have added to their depth pool with a pair of signings on Monday as the team has announced the additions of Adam Beckman (WHL) and Damien Giroux (OHL).

Giroux, 20, spent the last four seasons in Michigan with the Saginaw Spirit of the OHL. He led his club in goals with 44 this season. He is eligible to return to the OHL, but it seems more likely at this point that Giroux will report to Iowa, the Wild's AHL affiliate.

Beckman, 18, played his last two seasons with the Spokane Chiefs in the WHL and is the reigning 2019-20 WHL scoring champion, registering 48 goals and 107 points in just 63 games this season.

Unlike his counterpart, Damien Giroux, Beckman is ineligible to join Iowa due to his age, thus he is expected to return to the Chiefs next season for another season in junior.

Beckman was the Wild's 3rd round draft pick in 2019 (75th overall), while Giroux was selected in the 5th round in 2018 (155th overall).
