The New York Rangers have signed forward Austin Rueschhoff to a two-year entry-level contract, according to TSN's Frank Seravalli. The deal starts in 2020-21.

The 22-year-old winger spent the past three seasons with Western Michigan University, racking up 70 points (35 goals, 35 assists) in 105 contests.

Despite going undrafted in his first three years of eligibility, Rueschhoff has attended NHL development camps in each of the past three summers— with the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2017, the St. Louis Blues in 2018, and the Columbus Blue Jackets in 2019.

Rueschhoff is the second college free agent to sign with the Rangers in recent weeks, joining Michigan State forward Patrick Khodorenko, who signed a three-year entry-level deal with the team on March 10.
