BREAKING: Aaron Rodgers' Career in Jeopardy After Scary Injury
Aaron Rodgers was only five minutes into the first game of the season for the New York Jets when he left injured.
X-Rays came back negative, and many believe he has a torn achilles.
Already 39 years old, if this injury sidelines him for the season, it could be the end of his career.
Rodgers' Last Game?
The Green Bay Packers legend renegotiated his contract in New York this off-season, taking less money to improve the team around him. Unfortunately, only minutes into the game, Rodgers left with injury.
Following X-rays, many have come to think the worse has occurred - a torn achilles:
Aaron Rodgers injury appears to be either Lisfranc foot injury, ankle sprain or possibly even Achilles. Similar mechanism to JK Dobbins injury Sunday.
Best case is ankle sprain. Will miss several weeks best case.
We will see how things turn out for Rodgers. No matter what, it seems he'll be sidelined long-term.
