BREAKING: Kasperi Kapanen Addresses Drunk Driving Scandal
New reports have come in regarding Kasperi Kapanen's recent legal trouble. It was reported earlier today that the Finnish forward was suspected of aggravated drunk driving while home in Finland.
Now Kapanen has given his side of the story in a new statement.
Kapanen Speaks On Recent Legal Trouble
After news broke of his suspected charges Kasperi Kapanen put out a statement regarding the situation.

"Last month I made an unacceptable error in judgement and take full responsibility for my actions. I offer my apologies to my family, the Blues organization, my teammates, and the fans. I understand the severity of my mistake and am committed to doing everything I can to earn back their trust."

"Today we became aware of the incident involving Kasperi and I have spoken with him and his agent. We are disappointed in his lapse of judgement and are entrusting him to make the necessary changes to avoid putting himself in a similar situation in the future."

The Blues have also made a statement saying that they are aware of the incident. They are disappointed in Kapanen but hope he will make the necessary changes to make better decisions going forward.
Kapanen is heading into his second season with the Blues. He will likely be used as a middle-six scoring winger and look to help get the Blues back to the playoffs.
