In recent months, a divorce between NHL forward
Evander Kane and his now ex-wife, Anna, has gone very public with ugly accusations coming from both sides.
Less than a day after a judge chose to give Kane, 30, custody of the couple's child, Kenzington, Anna posted several concerning things on her personal Instagram account. On Wednesday night, she posted a video of what appeared to be Kane pointing a gun at her, though his agent has since said in a statement the video was from a professional photoshoot back in 2020 that was done with mutual consent. On Thursday morning, Anna once again brought up Kane on her Instagram feed, this time in the form of a statement, which reads as following:
"Evander left with zero regard for me, our daughter, and the child I was pregnant with. I acknowledge I was not forthcoming about my pregnancy ending, but I was and still am terrified because I know what this man is capable of. We were not given any support at all, after the day he decided to leave me, and I found out through social media he was in Europe with another woman, Mara, who is pregnant with his baby."
"I have been bashed in the media repeatedly as Evander continues to leak articles that push his narrative while serving me with a gag order so I can't cooperate or release mine. I've now broken my gag order, as his attorney has mentioned, however the worst case scenario happened today, and my daughter is now in the custody of this horrific person."

The statement continues on in her post below. This is obviously a very messy situation. In the meantime, Anna was told by a judge not to mention Evander on her social media accounts again, so this could mean added legal trouble for her. She has also been ordered to undergo a psychological assessment.
