During Thursday's loss to the Ottawa Senators, Maple Leafs goaltender Petr Mrazek suffered a groin injury, and left the game. Jack Campbell came into the game to start the third period.

According to TSN's Chris Johnston, Mrazek's injury will keep him out of Saturday's game against Ottawa.

With cap space being an issue, the Maple Leafs are unable to make an emergency call-up from the Toronto Marlies (AHL. Johnston added that they'll likely be signing an EBUG to an amateur tryout contract to backup Jack Campbell.

The goaltender that will likely be signed for tonight is Alex Bishop from the University of Toronto, who played parts of three seasons in the QMJHL for the Saint John Sea Dogs, Quebec Ramparts, and Val-d'Or Foreurs.

Once they play one game short, they can then make an emergency call-up from the Marlies, bringing up Michael Hutchinson.

Toronto and Ottawa will play their second game in a row against each other at Scotiabank Arena on Saturday night. Puck drop is set for 7pm ET on CBC and Sportsnet.
