Five Kraken players placed on NHL's COVID-19 protocol list

Seattle Kraken head coach Dave Hakstol announced on Monday that five of his players have entered the NHL's COVID protocol.

The players are forwards Joonas Donskoi, Calle Jarnkrok, Marcus Johansson, Jared McCann, and defenceman Jamie Oleksiak.

"Hakstol says the Kraken are working toward making a few items happen to fill out the roster in lieu of the players in COVID protocols while noting they are hoping to get Alex Barre-Boulet on the team in time for him to play tomorrow depending upon travel." Kraken reporter Ryan S. Clark said on Monday afternoon.

Seattle will play their first-ever NHL game on Tuesday night when they head to Vegas to take on the Golden Knights.
