Oilers Sign Erne
Earlier this offseason the Oilers brought forward Adam Erne in on a PTO with the hope of him being impressive enough to earn a full contract.
Today it has been announced that Erne has earned his contract from Edmonton.

The #Oilers have signed forward Adam Erne to a one-year, two-way contract with an AAV of $775,000 at the NHL level.

Erne spent last season with the Red Wings scoring 18 points in 61 games.
Throughout his career, Erne has played 355 career games spent between stints with Tampa and Detroit.
Now he will focus on helping the Oilers win a Stanley Cup as a defensive specialist who can chip in offensively occasionally.
