Recently, seven players from Toplar UFA, a Russian junior team affiliated with Salavat Yulaev of the KHL, have accused a coach, Igor Zagretdinov, of forcing them to take PEDs. with threats of ruining their careers if they did not oblige.
The seven players who accused the coach were caught with banned substances in their system and court documents have shown them accusing the coach of forcing the players to take them.
Zagretdinov's future is currently unknown and the players insisted they had never signed up for PED use.

Toplar is one of the premier programs in Russia. It has developed players like Andrei Vasilevskiy, Daniil Tarasov, Shakir Mukhamadullin, and the late Rodion Amriov.
