Patrik Laine and
Aleksander Barkov have teamed up to host a charity golf outing every summer since 2019, creating a must-attend event for some of Finland's top athletes. This summer, the duo raised over $100,000 for children's sports hobbies of poor families.
Over the years, Teemu Selanne,
Leon Draisaitl,
Mikko Rantanen,
Rasmus Ristolainen, Jussi Jokinen and others have either attended the tournament or donated memorabilia for auction, helping raise money for the cause.

Florida Panthers' writer Jameson Coop asked the team's captain about the event and its ability to raise money:
"It's getting bigger all the time," Barkov told me last summer.
The amount they raised for kids' sports initiatives will aid greatly. Well, not if it's used for ice hockey, but for soccer, basketball and skiing it should help a ton.
The Finnish duo's 2023 goal will be lofty, but something tells me they will hit it. Both of the forward are poised for big seasons, Laine playing alongside
Johnny Gaudreau and Barkov centering
Matthew Tkachuk. While Laine and the Blue Jackets look to crack the postseason, Barkov's Panthers have great expectations. The Presidents' Trophy winning Panthers were swept from the playoffs and made serious changes in the aftermath, shipping star F
Jonathan Huberdeau and D
Mackenzie Weegar to the complete opposite corner of the North American continent in Calgary. Should be an exciting year for these two.
