Anton Slepyshev is coming off a breakout season for CSKA Moscow of the KHL. With their season officially over, the Oilers may be looking to bring the 25-year-old winger back to North America.

A third round pick of the Oilers in 2013, Slepyshev left the team two years ago for the KHL after parts of three NHL seasons yielded 23 points in 102 games. In 54 games with CSKA, he had 18 goals and 27 assists, with a +28 rating. "I haven't talked to his agent in two or three weeks," Oilers GM Ken Holland told the Edmonton Sun, "but now that the KHL season is shut down, I'll see what they're thinking."

Money may be an issue as Holland is believed to be reluctant to open the checkbook for a bottom-six forward, but Slepyshev's rights belong to the Oilers for just one more season, after which he will be a UFA and free to negotiate with any NHL team.
