Minnesota Wild goaltender and long-time veteran Marc-Andre Fleury released to the media some of his thoughts for next season. The Wild had their dreams crushed by the St. Louis Blues, even after being one of the favorites to go deep in the postseason.

According to the Athletic's Michael Russo, Fleury would «definitely» like to re-sign with the Minnesota Wild. The 37-year-old thinks that the team still has a chance to do great things next season, especially with some minor tweaks made in the offseason. On top of this, Fleury explained that this is one of the better locker rooms he has been a part of and would like to continue to be a part of that.

«I'm glad I came. I'm glad I got the opportunity to play with this team. It's such a great locker room.»

Fleury enjoyed a solid regular season with Minnesota, going 9-2-0 with a 2.74 GAA and .910 SV%. He did struggle a bit in the playoffs, but really the entire team did outside of Kirill Kaprizov. Whether or not Fleury re-signs with the team will likely come down to what the team plans on doing with Cam Talbot and what his future entails.
