Report states Marc-Andre Fleury has made his decision on Chicago

It was a shock to many people a few days ago when reigning Vezina trophy winner Marc-Andre Fleury was traded from the Vegas Golden Knights to the Chicago Blackhawks. His agent immediately released a statement saying Fleury, who is 35 and has one year left on his contract, would take some time to weigh his options and decide whether to retire or report to the Blackhawks. One report states that decision has been made.

According to Barstool Sports, Fleury has made the decision to report to Chicago for training camp.

While Fleury has made plenty of money over his career, giving up $7 million due to a trade is probably not the easiest thing to do. He can play out this year, take the money and retire then. There's also the opportunity to stick it to his former team. The Blackhawks have improved considerably over this offseason, at least on paper. There's a possibility Fleury wants to show the Knights exactly why they should have made this move.
