Per TSN's Ryan Rishaug, the Edmonton Oilers have chosen not to give qualifying offers to forwards Dominik Kahun and Jujhar Khaira, meaning they will become unrestricted free agents.

Khaira, 26, has been a part of the Oilers organization since being selected in the third-round (63rd overall) of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft. He has become a regular in the Oilers lineup since the 2017-18 season, often centering their fourth line while also playing a significant role on the penalty kill. In 258 career games he has managed 24 goals and 63 points.

Kahun, also 26, signed a one-year deal with the Oilers this past offseason. He struggled to find a rhythm with the Oilers and was healthy scratched on a number of occasions throughout the year as a result. In 48 games he managed nine goals and 15 points. In just three NHL seasons so far, he has played with the Chicago Blackhawks, Pittsburgh Penguins, Buffalo Sabres and the Oilers, failing to make much of an impact on any. In 186 career games he has 34 goals and 83 points.
