A Jack Eichel trade seems to be on the horizon, and with the Vegas Golden Knights freeing up a ton of salary on Tuesday by moving Marc-Andre Fleury. Their asking price for the Sabres captain has been revealed.

According to Ryan Kennedy of The Hockey News, Buffalo Sabres general manager Kevyn Adams has reportedly asked Vegas for Rielly Smith, Peyton Krebs, Nic Hague and a first round pick in exchange for Jack Eichel.

Eichel, 24, only played in 21 games this season due to injuries, more specifically a neck injury. Eichel wanted to have surgery on his neck, while the Sabres wanted him to just rehab the injury which has led to a bit of a standoff between the two sides. Regardless, Eichel did confirm that he will be ready to go for the beginning of the 2021-22 season.
