Seth Jones said he wouldn't re-sign right now with the team and was going to test free agency in July 2022. Since that was revealed, there have been numerous teams who want to try and acquire the 26-year-old such as the Los Angeles Kings, Chicago Blackhawks, and Montreal Canadiens.
According to TSN's Pierre LeBrun, a fourth team has entered the
Seth Jones sweepstakes, the Philadelphia Flyers.
"The level of interest is off the charts," LeBrun was told by his sources.
The Arlington, Texas native had a bit of a down year with Columbus. In 56 games, Jones tallied 28 points (5 G, 23 A), 26 penalty minutes, and was a -18.
