Much has been made over the officiating in Games 3 and 4 of the Montreal Canadiens/Vegas Golden Knights third round series, with referees Chris Lee and Dan O'Rourke taking a lot of heat for what many are convinced is "game-management".

On Tuesday morning, Sportsnet's Chris Johnston reported that Eric Furlatt and Kelly Sutherland would get the call I'm Vegas for Game 5, which is music to the ears of both Habs fans and Golden Knights fans - neither of whom have been pleased with how the games have been called over the last few outings.

Whether the move and the complaints had any correlation at all is not currently known, but one thing is for certain here. It will be a refreshing change of pace for Game 5.

The officiating in these Stanley Cup Playoffs continues to be a hot-button topic, with some on Twitter even discussing whether or not the NHL is conspiring with its officials to favor the teams who have the potential to be more profitable in the postseason. This theory was sparked by the fact that 10 out if the 11 series winners so far had the potential for higher ticket sales in the next round due to fan attendance numbers.

Likely a complete coincidence, but it does make you wonder, if you're an imaginative individual..
